At St Catherine’s, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience joy in their learning, achieve their full potential and flourish as part of our school community. Guided by our Christian values, we have high aspirations for all children and are committed to ensuring that disadvantage does not limit a child’s opportunities or success.
Our Pupil Premium strategy prioritises high-quality teaching, recognising that this has the greatest impact on children’s learning and outcomes. We also work to remove barriers to learning through targeted academic support, emotional and pastoral care, and by ensuring children feel safe, valued and ready to learn. We are committed to providing all children with opportunities to discover their interests, develop their confidence and enjoy a rich range of experiences beyond the classroom. Through this approach, we aim to ensure that every child can shine, flourish and thrive as a lifelong learner.
Pupil Premium funding is allocated to schools to support eligible pupils, including children who are currently eligible for Free School Meals, have been eligible within the past six years, are looked-after children or have been adopted from care.
If you think your child may be eligible, please speak to Mrs Steiger in the school office. If you have any questions about our Pupil Premium strategy, please contact Mrs Marlow or Mrs Devonshire, our PPG Lead, through the school office.
