I have five children at St Catherine’s, which is why I put myself forward for the position of Parent Governor. I am keen to play an active role in a school where my children, and all pupils, are supported to thrive and reach their full potential. I have previous experience as a governor, having served for several years at my children’s nursery. My professional background is in education, and I currently teach in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at another local school. As a result, I have a strong interest in EYFS and Special Educational Needs (SEN). As both a parent and an educator, I am passionate about ensuring that children receive the right support early in their education, enabling them to flourish both academically and emotionally. I would welcome the opportunity to contribute my experience and commitment to the governing body at St Catherine’s.
